What is the recommended way of doing this in AppleScript?
Well, the equivalent of "exit to hypercard" would be to exit to the
application under which the script is running, or to the Finder if the
script is an applet or droplet. Therefore, the syntax would be
error number -128
As soon as the script encounters that line it quits.
