I think your are using an adequate approach.
If the only problem you are having is the file name, then change it
after the fact with a separate routine.
One problem I run into with AS is asking it to do too much at one time.
Break the routines into byte sized pieces.
Also to handle the "OK"s etc. try Okey Dokey Pro or PreFab Player.
