Hi,
I' have spent some time searching the archives for some answers but have had
no luck. So at the risk of asking some questions that have been asked
before...
Goal: Create and Applescript the will daily find all files modified on that
day, create a text file containing the full path, and size of the found
files, stuff the found files, and copy the archive to a server.
I think I can handle the stuffing, and copying. Probably making the file
also. I have not had much luck with locating all files modified on a
particular date.
I have have successfully used Sherlock to find the modified files, but only
by pre-defining a search set and saving it as a file. I don't want to have
to create 365 search sets each year, even if it would not be a maintenance
nightmare.
I have also investigated using other programs that could do the search, but
there is problems with getting the results in a usable form.
So, If anyone has done something like this, I'd be much obliged if you could
give me some pointers.
Thanks...
Don Thompson
