Are you on OS 9.1 with AppleScript 1.5.5? And have you disabled the Security
modules in your Extensions folder? <<event earsffdr>> is 'path to', one of
the (Apple) Standard Additions. There was a bug with AS 1.5.5 that disabled
all the Standard Additions when you had removed Security extensions, instead
of just disabling the single 'mount volume' command.

You _could_ just put the security modules back. But instead, use Software
Update control panel to update AppleScript to v1.6, which has a number of
other improvements and bug fixes as well.
