Not sure why the first one works, but I have seen it before, and it may not
work in all versions of AS, or in the future.

Better to use 'path to me'

For the frontmost app, use 'path to frontmost application'

If you have a window open, you should know its path. I think the exact
syntax to use to get the frontmost document may depend on the application.
Check the application's dictionary.
