I'm not that excited about AppleScript Studio.
I am. I'm still waiting for X to be a viable platform for prepress, but
once it is, I'm going to be all over Applescript Studio. I'm actually
not bothering to write more than simple interfaces for my scripts (and
doing those usually with OneClick), because I figure it's going to be a
whole lot easier in X.

I don't think it's as much a question of Apple getting it's act together
as big developers. The only thing keeping mt.com
Business Card Express of Connecticut Thermographers to the Tost
people I know from moving to OS X is that a few major apps aren't native
yet.
Most of those who don't use those apps are already there and pretty
happy about it.
I think within a year either moving to X will be a good idea for most
mac users, or Apple will have to abandon it. The former seems much more
likely to me, since we're already there for most people outside the
printing/publishing industry and a few small niche markets.
