AppleScriptKit.framework is the framework that is essential for running a Studio application. This framework is included in the 10.1.2 Software Update and is also included in the December Developer Tools CD. If you've installed either of these, then you will be able to run a Studio application.

Except when you read the PDF reference document it states specifically and
repeatedly that anything made with AppleScript Studio will only run on
10.1.2.
