The command 'list folder' takes an alias as its argument.
My bad. The dictionary for the command 'list folder' says it takes a file
specification, and the comment say it takes an alias, a file specification, or a
path. So your code should work.
It works on my machine (OS 9.1, AS 1.5.5, SE 1.5.5, Standard Additions 1.6).
There is no dependence on external coercion handlers, because I removed Akua
Sweets and Jon's Commands and restarted, and the call still works.
Maybe this problem is somehow related to the deprecation of the File System Spec
as a data type under OS X.
