How do I use MODS from macScripter.net???

How do you use the mods from MacScripter.net. I am new to AS and I really
need to be able to make some text uppercase and I found a mod on there that
says it can do it. But when I downloaded it and tried to use it, all I get
is errors. I guess I don9t know how to use it... Can anyone help me out
here? Thanks
