Adding 'balloon help' to scripts

Suspect this is a programmers question, but, how can I add balloons to
single dialog items (system standard or palletes, such as the Dialog
Director ones)?

I did it with menus "hmnu" resources (so easy, because they are AS
related, or, using Akua's "insert menu" command, easy identibiables) and
"hfdr" (finder items, static ID -5696). But, what about "hdlg" and "hwin"?
