Thanks, Shane. I think that's the problem: it's an OS X applet so there
should be no memory limit at all except the user's machine, correct? Too
many apps open. (And I believe it is a relatively feeble rev 1 iBook with
almost no hard disk space available, so VM would be at a premium too.)
