Oh, duh -- of course! Get the header building crap out of the loop and
it becomes much faster. And also makes for nice simple functions.

Good job, thanks.

I'll test later, but if my sense of the algorithm is correct, this
should roughly halve the time of a couple of my quark scripts that take
forever. Or better if tell events take less time than SA calls.
