Scripting OSX Directory Services (LDAP)

  • Subject: Scripting OSX Directory Services (LDAP)

Hi all,

I vaguely recall that there's a way to script OSX' Directory Services (specifically, get data from an LDAP server) from the command line.

Anyone have clues on how to do this? It strikes me as a way nifty thing to do with "do shell script".

(There doesn't seem to be a nifty LDAP OSAX, and 9.2.2 is making using Ernestine a wee bit difficult.)

Thanks,
Andrew
