not safe. i commonly want to reply to all so that the
parties in question get my message sooner than later,
particularly if i have specific advice. (i'm thinking of all
my list subscriptions, not just this one, but this list is
one that can be quite slow in posting.) i could be more
judicious in my choice, but there are times i edit back to
just the list address because i realize the message has
little personal value. so personally i've come to appreciate
the feature.
BTW, what's that "Elm" being referred to by the author of the paper
referenced in the FAQ, as his favorite email client? Some relative of Pine?
a relative perhaps in the sense of being another unix
shell-based client. but from the little i used pine, i found
elm much different and much better, and used it for years.
