Does anyone know of a database of raw codes?
I once downloaded a MacPerl module which is intended to read and
parse the aete resource for an application, but I never did much with
it. It is not part of the current MacPerl distribution. The source
was probably cpan/Mac
name App.pm which uses Parser.pm

From macperlcat.pod - Chris (Nandor, not Nebel)'s AppleEvent Tutorial
Frontier can give you the vital information of these events. Go to the
Commercial Developers suite, select Enter your App's Name, and then type in
the four-letter creator ID of the application. Select the app in the dialog
box, and have Frontier create aete glue for the app. Then the events (verbs)
of the app are detailed in a new window.
I think Frontier here is UserLand software but I can't find the
referenced site.
Probably the easiest way to get this vital information is a droplet called
B<aete.converter> by David C. Schooley. It writes a text file in the same
location as the app dropped on it containing detailed information about the
app.
