Thanks to your message, I discovered indeed that in SMILE 1.7.5,

property parent: load script file "my_lib"

runs while tested inside the editor, but when saved, the code from my_lib isn't copied inside the script - the scpt resource is 'flat'. Hence, using the script as an application is impossible.

I discovered no way to have the script load and save the lib's code.
