Is there a way to specify which hardrive to initialize through apple script
without using, the X and Y position axis implemented by Cursor OSAX
extension? I'm looking for a code that will permit me to choose which hard
drive to initialize, using Drive Setup from the Utilities folder, this is my
previous code using this apple script extension;
select startup disk
open selection
select folder "Utilities" of startup disk
open selection
select file "Drive Setup" of folder "Utilities" of startup disk
open selection
close container window of folder "Utilities" of startup disk
MoveMouse {26, 138}
DoDoubleClick
MoveMouse {242, 252}
DoDoubleClick
DoDoubleClick
Quit application "Drive Setup"
end tell
Another method I tried was recording the procedure using the apple script
editor, but it will only record opening the application Drive Setup, the
script editor did not record the drive I choose to initialize nor did it
record when the initialize button was pressed, I'm looking for a script that
will work with OS 8.0 to 8.6.
Thank you!
