RE: Mounting Volumes

Hi all,

I have been trying to use several variations of the following

>>mount volume "afp://user:password@serverIPnumber/ServerName/diskname"

to mount a particular file server. I can get it to work fine for my ASIP
servers within my WAN, but the problem server is outside the WAN. I can
mount the problem server with no trouble from the chooser using IP
number.

Does "mount volume" use some different protocol than using the chooser
directly? something that might be blocked going outside my WAN?

TIA

Have a GREAT day!
