Hi
I use an ISP which uses seperate phone numbers at peak (daytime weekdays)
and off-peak (evening and weekend) times. I have two Remote Access
configurations for each time and I need a script which will
- enable the off-peak config. between 8am and 6pm on weekdays
- enable the peak config. between 6pm and 8am on weekdays and 6pm Friday
evening until 8am on Monday
I have no idea how to write such a script but it would need to check on
launch what time it is, what day and figure out from that data which Remote
Access configuration to enable. I use Multiple Users so everyone else using
my machine has no access to the Remote Access Control Panel or Control
Strip. A script would make internet access seamless without making my family
have to run my own two-bit scripts - peak or off peak depending on what time
it is, which is a pain.
If anyone can assist, I'd be extremely grateful!
