Marco Piovanelli's Style includes sufficient instructions about how to
attach scripts to many of its menu items, in the main Style how-to document
in the Documents folder. It also includes two examples in the More Scripts
folder.

Style can also run a script when you launch Style. And it can respond to
external events, just by putting a suitable script in the right folder, as
explained in the documentation.

Style is $10 shareware, but you can download a demo to see if its scripting
features suit you. Here:
