After some helpful direction to a few corners of AKUA 1.4.1, and Leonard
Rosenthal's Set Printer To OSAX, I still find myself in a bit of a quandary.
I have perused AKUA particularly, and found several near-pertinent
commands (such as printer config rec and so forth), however, I haven't
really found what I'm looking for.
I routinely print PhotoShop files to a colour or B/W printer with:
1) captioning (Caption - the PhotoShop area of the Chooser) enabled
2) labeling (Labels in the PhotoShop area of the Chooser, which is
just really the file name) enabled
3) Paper size set to US Letter, not US Letter (small) - which is the
default
4) Printing rotation (depending on format - landscape or portrait)
5) and then in the Print section of the Chooser, have a colourspace
option to print the file (as RGB, CMYK or Greyscale)
How does one access these checkboxes and dropdowns via Applescript (to,
say, create several droplets each with a different config that files could
be dropped onto and printed out in the manner desired for that pic)?
Perhaps they are not accessible/scriptable yet? Several things seem like
they should be simple Boolean commands - the pop-down access stuff may be
trickier.
These are routine configs for us here, that we have to access and change
each and every time we print an image to a printer (many, many times a day).
Gotta be a way...
Any help much appreciated.
