Did you save it as a compiled script or as an applet? It sounds to me
like you saved it as a script.

I've saved it in every format available. If it is saved as run-only,
it doesn't work.

I tried it, and got that error only when saved as a run-only script (but
only when double-clicking the script; running it from within another
application--Claris Emailer--worked OK).

I haven't tried running the script from another application...only by double-clicking it. I don't know why double-clicking the script to run it would affect its execution in this case.

Saving it as a run-only applet worked fine.

Hmmm. Must be something unique to my setup then. Like I said before, it's no biggie 'cause I don't really need the script. I guess I'll just let it die a quick death and move on to something more useful. ;-)

Thanks for your feedback.
