Script Editor crashing constantly

Ever since I got my G4/533DP, running OS 9.1, the Apple Script Editor
crashes everytime I hit the "RUN" button. Doesn't make any difference what
script is loaded at the tie, the simplest script will crash it. Tried
trashing prefsm reinstalling, etc. Doesn't seem to be na extension conflict
either.

Ideas?
