My brief foray into 9.1 lasted about 8 hours... The first 5
of which were spent trying to get it to boot without hanging.
Once I got it to the Finder, I found some Application
instability (don't recall the specifics) and a general feeling
that the minor improvements weren't worth further effort.

Of course, my test was on a Umax C600 that wasn't providing any
production services, and I haven't tested it on any newer
(or Apple) machines, so your mileage may vary.
