how can I automatically compile a script

I have a cgi that creates a script by including some variables from a database. The cgi writes the script to disk. Is it possible to somehow automatically compile that script? I want to be able to hit it as a cgi itself later on and from my understanding, it has to be a compiled script in order for me to do that. Right?

Thanks,
