For those on the list who may still be curious:
Olaf Hellman and now Richard 23 have asked me privately why I ignored
Olaf's solution.
In fact I missed it (and have responded to them in private.
Thanks again to all those who responded to both sets of questions. As
I remarked to Christopher Stone, dealing with this list tends to make
me feel a bit like a panhandler who, upon asking for, "a quarter for
a cup of tea", is handed a $100 bill!
