The folders have to be open (unless you install Eric Grant's Folder Actions
Plus into your Extensions folder), if you are dropping items onto the
actions folder.
This could be the problem. Or, since you say this is your first time, maybe
you didn't realize you have to actually attach the scripts to the folder? --
use the control-click contextual menu. Or maybe, as you suggest, the script
isn't written correctly. Spell out the nature of your problem with a little
more detail, and you'll get lots of help here.
