I just make an off screen window and keep adding labels to it for
collections of similar handlers. It works pretty well but there's
plenty of little annoyances in FaceSpan, enough to keep me scripting
with a primitive interface most of the time.
as for the parent trap...what works for me is to place a property in
the project script, something like:
property project: me
and access the "main" script with "my project".

It is the only tool I use that consistently tempts me to toss my
Mac out the window. People with short fuses should probably avoid it.
