Hi Ben,

I don't know about Apple's built-in encryption - never scripted that. but I
use EnScrypt (http://www.highwinds.com/products/enscrypt.html) in numerous
scripts; and it just plain rocks. It may or may not work for you; but I
figured it was worth a mention.
