No, I hadn't. All of these generate the error as you have shown.

This, in fact, is the only aspect of this thread that I found
interesting, that different people were reporting different
behavior with the same lines of code.

It's good to know that we aren't all crazy. :)

Speaking of "missing digests", it seems to me like the digests
aren't being sent often enough. It seems like whenever I get
involved in a thread like this, I very quickly begin to get behind
in the conversation. :(
