OS 9.1 & OSA Menu

If this has already been addressed, please forgive me.

After loading up my new G4 (DA 466MHZ)/OS 9.1 with all the software from
my old machine, I quickly developed a condition where the Finder would
lock up right after startup. Conflict Catcher revealed that the problem
was the OSA menu, and when I removed it the problem went away.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar problems and if
there is a workaround. I'd hate to lose OSA menu!
