If you have BBedit then it is worth doing. There are a number of ways
of going about it. A very simple and messy way would be to have 2 files
open. One with the names and the other with your newsletter. You can
just get BBedit to check every word(you could filter the words a bit
with grep to cut down on time) against your sorted list. To speed it up
you can index you list with line numbers for each letter. Just leave it
to work away for 20 mins depending on how fast your machine is. It
sounds like a fun project. If you want you can email me direct for a
