Hi Sally,

If your interested in writing speech commands, you'll find lots of info
and numerous examples already included with your System software.
You won't be dissapointed, its lots of fun and works beautifully.
I now sit at one computer and tell the other to start filesharing...tooo
cool.

To get some basic info:

Start by going to Help Center, (Help Menu) do a search for "Speak"
following desired links, you'll get plenty of good info.

You'll also find numerous, prewritten examples in your "Speakable Items"
folder (in Apple Menu). You can open most of these using Script Editor.

That said, I reccomend learning some basic AppleScripting first just to
get a feel of its capabilities. (tho you could easily write some really
basic speech commands your first day.)

HTH,
xandra
