A 'classic' question

Hi all

First, many wishes to all of you for the New Year

Please, forgive me for asking this again...

What is the best way, with vanilla AS, to tell a app without knowing where it is? I seem to recall it involves its creator code; problems with more than one app? is this what you call the 'double tell' trick?

Many thanks in advance,

Serge
