Steve-

A couple of ways to do this. One is to drag the application icon on the scripting editor icon- this will open the apps dictionary. I have the application switcher palette on my desktop and can drag the application icon the the icon for the scripting editor in the bar of application icons. Or use the Open dictionary
from the appropriate menu in the scripting application. The File menu in Script Editor and Smile.
