What have you got as far as a script so far?

With PhotoScripter you would use the "adjust" command to change the image
size (page 56 of the manual) -

adjust the current document changing the image size to {width: x as
inches (or percent or pixels...), height: z as inches (or percent or
pixels...), resolution: XXX.X as density, interpolation method: bicubic}

To save out the copies check out page 50 of the manual-

save the current document in file "Macintosh HD:Images:New File"
with making copy

The PhotoScripter manual is very detailed on commands - one of the best, to
the point manuals, I've ever seen.
