Disappear Applescript - again

Dear all,
Thanks to the people that gave me information about a known issue with Applescript version 1.4.3. I some how got a bad version that makes my code disappear.

On trying to install the updated version however I find that I get an error message which says: "Applescript 1.4.3 is already installed on this volume. Please choose another etc..." How do I un-install the old (bad) version to the (good) new one? I removed the 'ApplescriptLib' extension but this did not seem to help. It still does not let me install applescript.

Any help appreciated.
