Using AppleScript to Logout with Multiple Users and OS 9

I could not find any answers in the recent postings (and the archives erred
out on me) but is it possible to use AppleScript to create a simple Logout
call? I could find how to restart and shutdown, but I could not find a way
to logout. I am a "newbie" here so please accept my ignorance with this
matter.
