Interface is more than color or look. I have used both SoundJam (full
version) and iTunes. There are advantages to both, and little cause for
animosity aganist either. No one is forcing the use of either.

Consider this. With iTunes Apple will reach a vaster audience than
SoundJam, even with the latter's free version. This is a bonus for mp3
and digital music, whether or not AppleScript is built in yet. iTunes has
a clean interface and layout, is simple to use, and add the burn bonus
for CD-RW. It also will evolve. I doubt we have witnessed the final
version.
