I got bit by this pesky thing as well!! Thanks for the excellent detective
work, you saved me hours - I don't know how I would have ever found that!
I would conjecture that it has to do with AppleEvents over IP..???
All I did was put "Security Library" back in the active Extensions folder
and it was happy.
