If you're going to keep answering your own questions this won't be much
of a conversation! 8)
One thing I have been able to do is to copy the osax and related resources
(using ResEdit, Resorcerer or Resurrection) a new script applet and use
Applet Binder to bind the resources to the applet. Then anytime you want
to use the extended terminology you can do so within a tell block with the
applet as the target of your tell statements.
But the first question really is: Do you need this naughty osax file which
is usurping the Standard Additions terms? Not a good sign in my opinion.
