OS X PB and AppleScript Droplets

  • Subject: OS X PB and AppleScript Droplets

Hi all,

I have found that I cannot drop a plain text file created with TextEdit on an AS droplet. (i.e. the droplet icon does not highlight and the droplet does not activate, and the dragged icon returns to its original position.) All other files I have tried cause the droplet icon to highlight - whether imported from OS 9, or created in OS 10. In the latter case this includes a Rich Text File created with TextEdit, so this cannot be due to the lack of a classic creator or file type, since the OS 10 files don't have them. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Don
