Thanks very much to C. Stone for the confirmation via Apple (C. Nebel) of the bug in retrieving status information using NSS.

Has anyone thought of a work around to get connected/disconnected info for an AS? The relevant control panels are not directly scriptable and I don't have anything that runs under the Finder this is scriptable for this. I guess one has to hand enter this info until the bug is fixed.
