Beginner looking for SCRIPT EDITOR

Can anyone help me locate a copy of the AppleScript Script Editor?

I'm a rank beginner just learning applescript. Using Apple's online beginner
tutorial, I discover I've previously dumped the Script Editor (and the Apple
Extras Folder) and can't find it on my OS 8.5 install disk nor on the Apple
website.
Please help.
