This may be a dim question, but since I've just had a similar problem on a
tinier scale with a script (called from OSA Menu) that does a file copy,
shouldn't you just add a "with timeout" statement?

Yeah, but vanilla scripting does, as R23 pointed out, have its
advantages... how long though before someone does a Remote Access scripting
addition for 9.1?
