Hello Chris,

CMScript 1.3.3 (a CMM) in combination with AppleScript will permit this sort of functionality.

FinderPop (a Control Panel) will let you do this more easily (with aliases) and has many other goodies besides. (It will also run Compiled AppleScripts)
