I want to add a command to my Finder contextual menu that will move
selected items to one of the folders in my favourites folder.

Just write your script and use FinderPop to have it available as a
contextual menu item. The coolest thing about using FinderPop for this is
that it allows you to make yoru script 'kind of truly' contextual, in the
sense that you can have it appear only when you're in the Finder.

See <http://www.euronet.nl/~tekelenb/software/mailURL.html> for an example.

Why use a script? Just put your folder of interest (FOI) in FinderPop, select your items of interest in the Finder control click on the selection, navigate to the FOI and Bobs your Uncle! Actually one reason for a droplet type script is that it could move items depending on for example their file type, creator, label or suffix.
