[Thread snipped]

I know: I'm late and quite off-topic, you know, an entire week w/o email... what
a back log!
Anyway...
I have a script which performs some operation with a bunch of files uploaded via
FTP and, when done, deletes them and empties the trash...
BUT... when an upload goes wrong the last file is busy and even with a 'try'
statement around it I cannot empty the trash without an error dialog from the
Finder... And the nasty thing is that I have to reboot to fix this...
Any way to get around this?
TIA
