With that same config here at work we had the same problem with all script
editors and it would get worse with the size of the script.
What solved it was one of the two following things,
Deleting the left over invisibles files (813MB for this particular machine)
and removing some fonts from the font folder(there were some in there that
just didn't belong in the standard install).
We also tried but to no avail, rebuilding desktop and optimizing the drive.
Oh, and rebuilding the font database that is in ATM Deluxe.
