Xandra,
Two and a half thoughts.
1) Are you sure you didn't miss a quote(") around the application name
anywhere?
2) Are you certain you're not enclosing the "type text" lines in a tell block
in the Tex-Edit case? In the "Scripter" snippet you provided, the "type text"
commands are NOT inside a tell block.
2 1/2 ) Assuming you *are* enclosing the lines inside a tell block, are you
certain "type text" is not actually a Tex-Edit command (don't have it, can't
check), the syntax for which you are effectively mangling in your effort to
use Sigma's syntax?
